QA Tester

Pembury, Kent • Full Time

As our company continues to grow, we have a new QA Tester role available.

It’s a full-time position. A hybrid of home/office working.

Responsibilities

  • Learning about our main software product and how we test it
  • Assisting in the detection, investigation, and resolution of defects and issues
  • Performing both scripted and exploratory manual testing
  • Documenting steps taken and being able to repeat them in demonstration of defects
  • Developing and maintaining a set of scripted manual tests

Key Personal Attributes

  • As testing is about having a passion for quality, a keen eye for detail and, a persistence to see things through, the right candidate will need to demonstrate these qualities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and urgent requests

Qualifications / Experience

  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate is a requirement of the role
  • Confidence with using web-driven applications and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential
  • Some experience of manual software testing is an advantage but not essential as assistance will be given to get you started in your new role

Salary & Benefits

  • £24,000 - £26,000 per year depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday (pro-rata)
  • Hybrid working allowing working from home and office following induction and training
